Dr. Naresh Kumar Chhuneja joined PAU as District Extension Specialist (Agri. Engg.) on 04.08.1995 after completing B.Tech. (Agri. Engg.) and M.Tech. (FPM) in 1995 from PAU. He did his PhD (FPM) in 2011 from PAU. He joined AICRP research project on ESAAS in 2001 as Assistant Professor and Research Engineer (2008 onwards). His field of specialization is farm machinery & power engineering; ergonomics and safety in agriculture and allied sector. He was a member of executive committee as Secretary (2007-12) and Ex-Officio Member (2012-16) of Punjab Chapter of ISAE. He guided 12 PG students (including 6 as Major Advisor) and 22 B.Tech. students for their research projects. He published 16 research articles in referred journals, 14 in proceedings, 12 as abstract of conferences. Besides, he published 1 book, 21 book chapters, 81 extension articles and 68 TV/Radio talks. He also developed an e-course on Human Engineering and Safety for B.Tech. students. He also strengthened Ergonomics Laboratory, Department Library and College Book Bank and Reading Hall.

2. DST Adhoc Project “Design and development of offset rotavator for orchards” as Co-PI during 2010-18.

4. NATP Project “Technology assessment and refinement (TAR) project under irrigated agro-eco regions of Punjab” as Team Member during 1999-2001.
