Dr.  Narinder Deep Singh has completed B.Sc. Agri. (Hons.) from GNDU, Amritsar in 1997; M.Sc. Agri. Economics from GNDU, Amritsar in the year 2000 and Ph.D. Economics from University of Jammu, Jammu in the year 2010. He joined Faculty of Agriculture, Khalsa College Amritsar as Asstt. Professor (Agri. Economics) in 2004 and worked in the same institution till 2020. He joined PAU as Deputy Director (Trg.) at KVK Ludhiana in 24/09/2020 to 22/05/2021 and remained Deputy Director KVK Pathankot from 23/05/2025 to 23/09/2024. During this period, he has delivered more than 150 extension lectures, conducted more than 2300 Front Line Demonstrations, field visits, surveys to guide farmers and entrepreneurs. He was involved in formation of 05 SHG’s and 31 new business start-ups in rural areas. Moreover, he has supervised and guided 03 Ph.D. and 19 M.Sc. Agri. Economics scholars in their research. He has 03 books, 35 research papers in various national and international journals and 21 extension publications to his credit. Presently he is working at Farm Advisory Service Centre, Gurdaspur as Senior Extension Scientist (Agri. Economics) (SM).

Professional Accomplishment:     

 He has 3 research projects: 

1. UGC funded research project entitled Rural Healthcare System and Indebtedness among Farmers of Punjab, in 2011-12.
2. Technology transfer for Nutrient Management in     Litchi Orchards through Soil and Leaf       Analysis in district Pathankot, funded by NABARD, New Delhi in 2023.
3. Exploration and Popularization of Water Saving Technologies for decision making   process of the Farmers, funded by NABARD, New Delhi in 2024.
