Dr. Narinderpal Singh, Professor of Punjabi at Punjab Agricultural University (PAU), Ludhiana, is a distinguished academic in Punjabi literature, possessing over three decades of teaching and research experience. He obtained his Ph.D. in Punjabi from Panjab University, Chandigarh, in 2004, following an M.Phil (1989), M.A. (1988), and B.A. (Hons.) (1985) from the same institution. He also holds a P.G. Diploma in Agricultural Journalism from CCSHAU, Hisar (1998), and a Certificate Course in French from PAU, Ludhiana (2006). Beginning his academic career as an Assistant Professor at Punjab Agricultural University (PAU), Ludhiana, in 1992, his commitment and scholarly rigor led to his promotion to Professor in 2011. His primary areas of expertise include Modern Punjabi Lyrical Poetry and the Criticism of Modern Punjabi Literature. As a devoted scholar and educator, Dr. Singh has significantly contributed to the advancement of Punjabi literary studies through his teaching, research, and critical analysis.
