Dr. Nav Prem Singh is working as Professor (Fruit Science) in Department of Fruit Science, Punjab Agricultural University Ludhiana. Actively involved in the development/evaluated six fruit varieties; 21 production technologies including package of practices for the cultivation of strawberry and apple crop, Corrugated Fiber Boxes (CFB) for pear, litchi, fertigation schedule, protection technologies etc. for the adoption at farmer’s level. He has published 89 research papers, 4 book chapters, 03 review papers, 05 extended summaries and 03 teaching manuals. He has guided/guiding 11 M.Sc and Ph.D students as Major advisor in disciple of Fruit Science and has taught UG and PG courses. Edited four seminars/summer school/proceedings and authored two books. Remained Incharge, MS Randhawa Fruit Research Station, Gangian (Dasuya) Hoshiarpur. Incharge, Horticultural Students Training Class (HSTC), Co-ordinated ten training programmes, disseminated technologies through 8 trainings, 61 popular articles, 101 expert lectures, delivered four radio and four TV talks.
