Brief Introduction

Dr. Pradipkumar Mahadev Adhale is currently serving as Agricultural Economist in the Department of Economics and Sociology, Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana. He started his career as Senior Research Fellow at ICAR-Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI), New Delhi, and ICAR-National Institute of Agricultural Economics and Policy Research (NIAP), New Delhi. He joined Punjab Agricultural University in June, 2021. Dr. Pradipkumar holds a PhD in Agricultural Economics from Mahatma Phule Krishi Vidyapeeth, Maharashtra (2019), MSc in Agricultural Economics from Dr. Balasaheb Sawant Konkan Krishi Vidyapeeth (2016), and BSc in Agriculture from Vasantrao Naik Marathwada Agricultural University (2014). He is guiding one postgraduate students as a major adviser and three students as advisory committee member. He has authored over a 15 peer-reviewed research articles in reputed journals such as Science of the Total Environment, Sustainability, Current Science, Indian Journal of Agricultural Economics, and Agricultural Economics Research Review. He is also the co-author of technical reports including Bridging Markets and Harvesting Fortunes and Commodity Outlook Report: Maize. He has participated in capacity-building programs and winter schools at ICAR-NDRI Karnal, ICAR-NIAP New Delhi, and IASRI New Delhi. He serves as a reviewer for reputed journals including Indian Journal of Economics and Development, National Academy Science Letters, and Agricultural Research Journal
