Preeti Sharma is presently working as Associate Professor in the Department of Extension Education and Communication Management, Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana, Punjab, India. She has more than 15 years of experience in the field of teaching, research and extension. Her field of specialization is social marketing approach and other extension and transfer of technology approaches, diffusion and adoption of homestead technologies, rural development, women empowerment, entrepreneurship, extension training management, water management and climate change. Her major responsibility is teaching along with research and extension. She has worked as PI or Co PI in six projects sponsored by DST, ICAR, NCW, Punjab state and CSR. She has published 65 research papers, 22 popular articles and several book chapters, besides presenting research papers in several International and National conferences/ seminars. She has taught many of the undergraduate and post graduate courses besides guiding 8 MSc. and 7 PhD students for their research work.
