Brief Introduction

Dr. Prerna Sood joined PAU as Assistant Professor on 20.09.2019 after completing BSc (Medical) from CSK, HPKV, Palampur (Himachal Pradesh) in 2008 and M.Sc (Zoology) from CSK, HPKV, Palampur (Himachal Pradesh) in 2010. She was the department topper in M.Sc.in CSK, HPKV Palampur Agricultural University and got the certificate of honour for graduation and post-graduation. She did her PhD (Zoology) from PAU, Ludhiana in 2014. She has worked as Assistant Professor in RIMT University, Mandi Gobindgarh and IET Bhaddal (Ropar) from 2014-2019. Her field of specialization is Ecology and Animal Physiology and areas of interest are pesticide toxicology, reproductive physiology. She has published 26 research papers in national and international journals and presented papers in national and international conferences. She has acted as a convenor for the session of Biosciences, Biochemistry, Biophysics and Biotechnology in 20th Punjab Science Congress on “Innovative Research in Science and Technology for Sustainable Development” held at IET Bhaddal Technical Campus, Ropar on February 7-9, 2017. She has also acted as a reviewer for many reputed journals (Elsevier, Toxicology Journals and Science Technol Group)
