Brief Introduction

Dr. Prinka Goyal joined PAU as Assistant Professor on 09.04.2018 after completing BSc (Medical) from Punjab University, Chandigarh in 2009 and MSc (Botany) from PAU, Ludhiana in 2011. She did her PhD (Botany) from PAU, Ludhiana in 2016. She has worked as Research Assistant in PAU, Ludhiana from 2016-2018. Her field of specialization is Plant Physiology and areas of interest are alleviation of biotic and abiotic stresses using botanical extracts, biofertilizers and synthetic growth regulators in cereals. She has guided 02 M.Sc. and M.Sc. integrated 5-year programme students as major advisor, published 18 research papers in national and international journals, 02 book chapters, and presented 03 papers in national and international conferences. Presently she is the member of the extension committee of Department of Botany and member of college compilation committee of college of Basic sciences and Humanities.
