Completed his B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture from Khalsa College, Amritsar and, M.Sc. from CSKHPKV, Palampur & Ph.D. (Soil Science) from Punjab Agricultural University (PAU), Ludhiana. She has joined university services in 2018, as DES  (Soil Science) at FASC Abohar (Fazilka). Currently serving as an Assistant Professor (Soil Conservation) in the Department of Soil Science at PAU, her research focuses on water management, nutrient management, and soil health. Being in teaching committee she is deeply committed to teaching and mentorship. Also, working as associated scientist in the project on detailed Soil Survey and Mapping of Some Selected Districts (Ludhiana, Moga, Tarn Taran and Fatehgarh Sahib) of Punjab at scale of 1:10,000 under the National Soil Mapping Project, Government of India.
