Brief Introduction

Dr. Ranjeet Kaur holds a Ph.D., M.Phil, and Master’s degree in English Literature from Panjab University, Chandigarh, and has qualified for the UGC-NET in English. Her research specialization focuses on Cultural Studies and Postcolonial Literature, examining the intricate power dynamics between majority and minority groups within the nation-state framework. She began her academic career as a Teaching Assistant in 2022 at PAU and has since demonstrated a deep commitment to both teaching and student development. In addition to her teaching responsibilities, Dr. Kaur actively coordinates with the University Counselling and Placement Guidance Cell and the Dr. Surjit Patar Chair at PAU. She is also deeply engaged in cultural mentoring, guiding students in youth festivals and enriching their academic journey through workshops, seminars, and literary events. Dr. Kaur’s work reflects a strong blend of scholarly inquiry, student engagement, and institutional involvement, contributing meaningfully to the academic community.
