Dr. Sangeet Ranguwal joined PAU as District Extension Specialist, FASS, Ferozpur on 23rd July 2013 ( as SM till October 2014), She joined as Assistant Farm Economist, KVK, Moga (November 2014-December 2020) and further as Agricultural Economist, Department of Economics and Sociology, PAU, Ludhiana since January, 2021. She is presently Co-PI in centrally sponsored Comprehensive Scheme for studying the Cost of Cultivation of Principal Crops in Punjab State funded by Ministry of Agriculture, Government of India. Her field of specialisation is Farm Management, Marketing, Natural Resource Economics and Rural development. She has guided 3 M.Sc students as major advisor, published 49 research papers in national and international journals; 11 book chapters; and presented 19 papers in national and international conferences. She has delivered 37 lectures to guide students, farmers and entrepreneurs in relation to efficient farm management, financial record keeping and marketing. Presently she is an active member of Extension Committee of the Department. She is also Joint Secretary, Indian Society for Agricultural Development and Policy, Department of Economics and Sociology, Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana; Convenor of Theatre Committee, College of Basic Sciences and Humanities, PAU and Member, anti-ragging committee, PAU, Ludhiana.

Social Impact Assessment Study (SIA) for the Acquisition of Land for Construction of Dashmesh Canal and its Distribution Network in Rupnagar and SAS Nagar Districts of Punjab funded by Department of Water Resources, Patiala, Government of Punjab as Co-PI during 2025.
