Brief Introduction

Dr Surjeet Singh Manhas, Senior Agronomist joined PAU as Agronomist on 20.10.2011 after completing B. Sc. Agri. from CCSU, Meerut in 2003 and M.Sc. (Agronomy) from GBPUA&T Pantnagar, Uttrakhand in 2005. He did his Ph. D. in Agronomy from PAU, Ludhiana in 2009. 

He joined as Senior Agronomist on 27.10.2023 till date. His field of specialization is crop production. He has guided 2 M.Sc. and 1 PhD. students as major advisor, published 26 research papers in national and international journals, 18 extension articles and involved in development of 22 production technologies. He has delivered 4 radio/TV talks and 65 lectures in various extension programmes.
