Brief Introduction

Dr. Yesmin Kaur joined PAU as Plant Pathologist on 08.11.2019 after completing BSc Agri (Hons) from Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana in 2012 and MSc (Plant Pathology) from PAU, Ludhiana in 2014. She did her PhD (Plant Pathology) from PAU, Ludhiana in 2019. Her field of specialization is Rice and Oilseed Pathology. She is currently guiding 02 M.Sc. students. She has published 19 research papers in national and international journals and presented 05 papers in national conferences and symposia. She is involved in teaching courses at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. She has delivered extension lectures to farmers about the diagnostic symptoms and integrated management of various diseases of rice and oilseed crops. She is a member of Indian Society of Plant Pathologists and Indian Phytopathological Society. She is also actively involved in various committees at the department and college level.
