The School of Business Studies(SBS), Punjab Agricultural University (PAU), had the pleasure of welcoming two of its distinguished alumni from the batch of 1978–80, on 19th December, 2025, who visited the School with the sole intention of reconnecting with their alma mater and revisiting the corridors that once shaped their academic and professional journeys.
The visiting alumni included Mr. M.G. Chengappa, Chief Executive Officer, R & N Khimji LLC (Ramesh Khimji Group of Companies), Muscat, and Shri S.P.S. Basra, Additional Director General (Retd.), Indian Coast Guard and former Coast Guard Commander (Western Seaboard). Their visit was marked by warmth, nostalgia, and shared memories of student life and rich Management Professional experiences at PAU.
Dr. Ramandeep Singh, Director, School of Business Studies, PAU, welcomed the alumni with open arms and expressed appreciation for their continued emotional and professional connect with the institution. He highlighted the significance of such visits in reinforcing the
SBS legacy and inspiring present-day students through lived examples of diverse and accomplished career paths.
