Dr. Mahesh Chand Singh is a Scientist in the Department of Soil and Water Engineering at PAU, Ludhiana. His research focuses on geospatial technologies, soil and water conservation, protected cultivation, micro-irrigation and RCTs. He has completed 02 research projects and is currently implementing 05 projects funded by DST, NRSC-ISRO, and the Punjab Government. He also organized a national seminar on AI applications in agriculture, funded by ICSSR. Dr. Singh has published over 80 research articles, 01 book, 04 book chapters and several extension articles/technical bulletins. He has guided 08 M.Tech. and 02 Ph.D. scholars and co-guided 08 postgraduate students (03 Ph.D. & 05 Master’s). He has received the University Gold Medal, Chancellor Medal, Best Scientist Award, College Merit, Merit Fellowship during B. Tech. and other recognitions. His fertigation recommendation for soilless cucumber is part of package of practices of PAU and one Copyright. He is a life member of ISAE and SCSI.
