UG Lab. (Physics)

The UG physics lab is equipped with experimental apparatus corresponding to the core branches of physics: Mechanics, Heat and Thermodynamics, waves and Optics, Electricity and Magnetism, Modern Physics, Electronics. Students at the undergraduate level become acquainted with the devices including CROs, spectrometers, multimeters, traveling microscopes, and vernier callipers.

PG Lab. (Physics)

The PG lab of Physics offer advanced practical knowledge for M.Sc. (Physics) students, covering Electronics, Nuclear, and Solid State Physics. Equipped with CROs, Function Generators, GM Counters, Scintillation Counters, and B-H curve apparatus, the PG lab enhance theoretical understanding through experiments in circuit design, radioactivity, and material properties, preparing students for careers in research, teaching, and industry with strong practical skills.

Computer Lab.

The departmental computer laboratory is equipped with 15 computers with internet facilities and software (SPSS and SAS) for the use of students. The SAS Software for Statistical analysis is generally used by students/ trainees/researchers/scientists of P.A.U. for official/ research work. This software has been procured under the NAIP Consortium on Strengthening Statistical Computing for NARS.

Books Library

The Books Library of department has a vast collection of books covering the fields of Mathematics, Statistics and Physics. The faculty and PG students of the department utilize the books for their teaching and research work.

Lecture/Smart Class Rooms

The Department is equipped with Lecture-cum-Smart classrooms that feature smart board and projector, allowing for effective teaching of the PG students of the University.
