Applications are invited on the prescribed form available in the office of undersigned on payment of Rs. 200/- in shape of online payment on any working day from 9.00 AM to 5.00 P.M in favour of Comptroller, PAU, Ludhiana along with receipt of online payment and self attested copies of certificates for one post of Jr. Research Fellow @ Rs. 37000/- P. M. + 16% HRA for 1^st two years and from 3^rd year onwards @ Rs.42000/- P. M. + 16% HRA provided in the scheme “Molecular genetic analysis of resistance/tolerance to different stress in Rice, Wheat, Chickpea and Mustard including sheath blight complex genomics- component Chickpea ICAR-53 (PC-2328)” in Pulses Section for a period of six months or till the termination of the scheme whichever is earlier.

Educational Qualifications:-

1) B.Sc. (Agri.)/B.Sc. (Biotechnology) with minimum OCPA 6.00/10.00 basis or 60% marks.

2) M.Sc. in Plant Breeding/Plant Breeding & Genetics/ Agriculture Biotechnology/Plant Pathology/Botany with minimum OCPA 6.50/10.00 or 65% marks.

Note-1: The candidate who does not possess Master’s degree in the relevant subject but possesses Ph.D Degree in the discipline required at Master’s level, shall be eligible for the post.

Note-II: Candidates having post graduate degree in Basic Sciences with three years Bachelor’s degree must have NET qualification and two years research experience. However, Ph.D candidates are exempted from this condition. The candidates should ensure that they fulfill the qualifications by the last date of submission of application.

Desired Qualifications:

1.Experience/Research work in relevant field.

2.Ph.D in relevant field.

The candidates should appear for interview on 29-09-2025 at 11.00 A.M in the office of the undersigned (Room No. 114, P.G. Building, PAU, Ludhiana). No separate information for interview will be sent. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
