Applications are invited on the prescribed form available in the office of undersigned on payment of Rs.200/- in shape of online payment on any working day from 9.00 AM to 5.00 P.M in favour of Comptroller, PAU, Ludhiana along with receipt of online payment and attested copies of certificates for the one post of Jr. Research Fellow @ Rs. 37000/- p.m. + 18% HRA for 1^st and 2^nd year and @ Rs. 42000/- p.m. + 18% HRA from 3^rd year onwards provided in the scheme “Metagenomic Profiling of Bioenzymes and their potential for composting to fulfill interlinked nutrient dependency in vegetable crops” CSS-86 (PC-6461)” (ZBSA) in Pulses Section for a period of six months or till the termination of the scheme whichever is earlier.

Educational Qualifications:-

1) B.Sc.(Agriculture/ Biotechnology/ Horticulture),B.Sc (Medical) with minimum OCPA 6.00/10.00 basis or 60 % marks.

2) M.Sc. in Soil Science/ Biotechnology/Agronomy/Life Science/Integrated M.Sc (Life Sciences) with minimum OCPA 6.50/10.00 basis or 65 % marks and passing of NET/GATE test.

3) Age limit: 28years.

Age relaxation: The upper age limit is relaxable up to 5 years in the case of candidates belonging to scheduled cast/tribes/OBC, women and physically handicapped candidates.

Note-1: The candidate who does not possess Master’s degree in the relevant subject but possesses Ph.D Degree in the discipline required at Master’s level, shall be eligible for the post.

Note -2: Desirable qualification: Experience/ Research work in Microbiology/Soil and Plant Analysis.

No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
