NOTICE

Applications are invited on the prescribed form available in the office of undersigned on payment of Rs.200/- in shape of Bank Draft payable at Ludhiana in favour of Comptroller, PAU, Ludhiana on any working day from 9.00 A.M. to 5.00 P.M. along with attested copies of certificates for one position of Junior Research Fellow @ Rs. 31000/- per month fixed + 16% HRA provided in the scheme entitled, “Research and Awareness Strategies for utilizing Fermented Organic Manure (FOM) from compressed biogas (CBG) plants for sustainable field crop production” Misc.-143 (PC-5439) (Funded by Maruti Suzuki India Limited, India)” for a period of six months or till the termination of the scheme whichever is earlier.

Educational Qualifications:

1. B. Tech./B.Sc. Agri/B.Sc. Agri. (Hons)/B.Sc. (Hort.)/B. Sc. (Forestry)/ B.Sc./BCA with minimum OCPA of 6.00/10.00 basis or 60% marks.
2. Masters’ Degree in Agronomy or equivalent with minimum OCPA 6.50/10.00 basis or 65% marks with NET may be recruited as Junior Research Fellow @ Rs. 31000/-+16% HRA

OR

Master degree in Agronomy or equivalent with minimum OCPA 6.50/10.00 basis or 65% marks without NET may be recruited as Research Fellow @ Rs. 28000/ +16% HRA (Fixed)

Desirable: Proficient in statistical analysis and experienced in designing and executing field based experiments.

Note: The candidate who does not possess Master’s Degree in relevant subject (s) i.e. Master Degree in Agronomy but possesses Ph.D. degree in the required at Master’s level shall be eligible for the post.

The fellowship is purely temporary and initially awarded for a period of six months which may be extended for a further period of six months at a time or till the termination of the scheme whichever is earlier.

The last date for the receipt of applications duly complete in all respects along with the attested copies of certificates in this office is 05.01.2026. The incomplete applications unsupported by the requisite documents will not be entertained. The candidates should appear before the selection committee for interview on 12.01.2026 at 11.00 a.m. in the office of the undersigned. No separate letter for interview will be issued. The original copies of the testimonials should also be brought at the time of interview. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.

The Junior Research Fellow resigning the fellowship shall have to give one month notice or one month salary in lieu of one month notice. However, this will not hold good in respect of other assignments in the PAU.
