Applications are invited on the prescribed form available in the office of undersigned on payment of Rs.200/- in shape of online payment on any working day from 9.00 AM to 5.00 P.M in favour of Comptroller, PAU, Ludhiana along with receipt of online payment and attested copies of certificates for the one post of Project Associate II @ Rs.35000/- P. M. fixed + 18% HRA/ Project Associate II @ Rs.28000/-P.M fixed + 18% HRA (without NET/ GATE) provided in the scheme “DBT North East Centre for agricultural Biotechnology (DBT NECAB): Phase III, Programme II: Development of insect resistant chickpea varieties protected against Helicoverpa armigera” CSS-20 (PC-6401) in Pulses Section for a period of six months or till the termination of the scheme whichever is earlier.

Educational Qualifications:-

1) B.Sc.(Agri.)/B.Sc (Biotechnology)/B.Tech Biotechnology in plant sciences with minimum OCPA6.00/10.00 basis or 60% marks.

2) M.Sc. in Plant Breeding/ Plant Breeding and Genetics/Biotechnology/Entomology with minimum OCPA 6.50/10.00 basis or 65% marks, two years experience in research and with NET may be recruited as Project Associate II @ Rs. 35000/- P.M +18% HRA.

Or

M.Sc. in Plant Breeding/ Plant Breeding and Genetics/Biotechnology/Entomology with minimum OCPA 6.50/10.00 basis or 65% marks, two years experience in research and without NET may be recruited as Project Associate II @ Rs. 28000/- P.M +18% HRA.

Note-1: The candidate who does not possess Master’s degree in the relevant subject but possesses Ph.D Degree in the discipline required at Master’s level shall be eligible for the post.

Note-2: Desirable: Experience in relevant field.
