Subject:  Filling up of post of Water Supply Assistant on contract basis at a fixed salary of Rs.13,403/- per month (additional Rs.800/- per month fixed) provided in the scheme, “Facilitating effective functioning at PAU, Misc.8 (PC-4715)”.

Applications on the plain paper with complete bio-data are invited for filling up of post of Water Supply Assistant on contract basis at a fixed salary of Rs.13,403/- per month (additional Rs.800/- per month fixed) in the scheme, “Facilitating effective functioning at PAU, Misc.8 (PC-4715)”.

The qualifications/experience prescribed for the post are as under:-

Matric with Punjabi with 5 years experience of operation/maintenance of Tubewells, knowledge of water supply system in Govt. Institutions/ Organizations.
Age Limit: 18-58 years.
Note:  Reservation will be applicable as per Punjab Government Policy.

The desirous candidates fulfilling the above qualifications/experience should send their applications on plain paper, complete in all respects alongwith attested passport size photograph, attested copies of the certificates/ testimonials and a Demand Draft of Rs.150/- in favour of COMPTROLLER, PAU, payable at LUDHIANA, to this office on or before 16.02.2026. The candidates must mention their complete address and mobile number in the application.

The appointment is purely temporary on contractual basis. The person so appointed will have to deposit one month’s salary or submit one month’s notice or salary for the period falling short of one month, if he/she opts to quit the university service and vice versa.

The applications received after the due date or received without the application fee shall not be considered. The department shall not be responsible for any postal delay or loss in transit. The position is purely temporary and the services of the incumbent are liable to be terminated at any time without any notice.
