• Experiential Learning Program (ELP)
  As part of this initiative, B.Sc. final-year students gain hands-on experience in preparing talc-based formulations of the biocontrol fungus Trichoderma sperellum in a dedicated Biocontrol Lab.
• Diagnostic Laboratory

It plays a pivotal role in the early and accurate identification of plant diseases caused by viruses and virus like organisms  affecting various crops. It supports disease monitoring and surveillance to detect new viruses emerging in Punjab, and works in close coordination with other departmental units to facilitate rapid and reliable molecular diagnosis.

• Fungicide Laboratory

It focuses on the rational and need-based application of fungicides for effective plant disease control. It undertakes systematic evaluation of fungicide efficacy against existing and emerging pathogen strains, optimizing dosage, timing, and application strategies including drone-based application.
