Ms Kanika Aggarwal, a Ph.D. student and Mr Vimal Challana, Junior Research Fellow, Department of Processing and Food Engineering, College of Agricultural Engineering and Technology, Punjab Agricultural University (PAU), have received the “Best Poster Award” and the “Best Oral Presentation Award” respectively, at the National Conference (FIFATF-2025) organized by Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology, Longowal, Punjab.
Both the students got the prize in the theme “Food Innovations, Food Allergies and Traditional Foods,” carried out under the guidance of their major advisors Dr Sajeev Rattan Sharma, Professor and Dr Sandhya, Principal Scientist, Department of Processing and Food Engineering, PAU, respectively.
Dr Satbir Singh Gosal, Vice-Chancellor, PAU; Dr Manjeet Singh, Dean, College of Agricultural Engineering, and Dr Tarsem Chand Mittal, Principal Extension Scientist-cum-Head, lauded the students for their achievements.
