- Reclamation of salt affected waterlogged areas and automated controlled drainage for enhancing crop water productivity.
- Smart farming (Soilless cultivation & vertical farming) and protected cultivation for high valued crop.
- Integrated watershed development and management for soil and water conservation in Kandi region.
- Geo-spatial applications in natural resource assessment and management.
- Higher education in the field of Soil & Water Conservation Engineering, Irrigation & Drainage Engineering and Remote Sensing & Geographic Information System.
- Dissemination of developed technologies to the beneficiaries.
