Punjab Agricultural University Ludhiana is having a dedicated Technology Marketing and IPR Cell for (TMIPRC) for managing and commercializing various technologies generated by the University. TMIPRC has been operating in the University for last more than 10 years. TMIPRC has been instrumental in the formulation of IPR Policy of the University. Regular and systematic efforts are made to protect technologies created by University Scientists through various Intellectual Propoerty Rights such as Patents, Designs, and Copyrights. TMIPRC is also active in taking technologies to the grass root level by engaging buyers from industry and entrepreneurial eco system. Till date, PAU has entered into more than 400 Memorandum of Agreements (MoAs) spanning across 95 technologies for disseminating the outcome of its research efforts at grass-root level. Major technologies commercialized by TMIPRC are as follows:
