Brief Introduction

Dr Vicky Singh is a Soil Chemist in the Department of Soil Science at Punjab Agricultural University. He has strong background in soil science and agronomy with 14 years of work experience in CG centres at PAU, IRRI and CIMMYT doing research and extension for development (R4D) in the areas of sustainable intensification of various cropping systems would strongly contribute to achieving the R4D goals and to develop sustainable farming systems through precision agriculture technologies specifically maintaining soil health, plant nutrition, nutrients dynamics and energy. He has worked diligently and promoted conservation agriculture and resource-conserving technologies in the Indo-Gangetic plains of India. His primary research interests include the behaviour of micronutrients in soil-plant systems, conservation agriculture, crop biofortification, and sustainable natural resource management.
